I want to begin this blog by giving glory to our Creator...His design is perfect. This is a fiddle head fern bud ready to unfold...they were all over on both sides of a trail we hiked during one of our weekly nature walks."All of the parts of the frond of a fern bud are tightly folded spirally within the bud and every fold of every leaflet is also folded in a spiral. But the first glance at one of these little wooly spirals gives us but small conception of its marvelous enfolding," (Handbook of Nature Study, p. 698)."...so intricate is the action of their multitudinous spirals, that to watch them unfolding impresses one as would a miracle," (HNS, p. 699).
Can't you just read this and feel that it describes all life?! It is a privilege for me to know Reece's Rainbow ministry, the precious "miracles" that give this ministry purpose, and to share with you my family's "unfolding" as we walk by faith. Thank you for sharing our walk...may you be richly blessed.

Amazingly....

...the sun is shining here again! Since very early this morning, it welcomed me from my sleep...and continues to shine...praise God! Also, my family has made the first leg of their trip home...they landed in Moscow safely and are now boarding for the flight to NYC. Love them and miss them so very much. I thank my wonderful husband for all he has done.

On a side note, this morning after I dropped off Maria at her groupa, I was waiting outside for Rustik, taking photos of some of the foliage and flowers, when I hear my name called... I turned around and it was Serge and Marina leaving the building.. They came over with warm hugs and kisses and big smiles... it was such a nice surprise. They had a couple with them (I do not believe from Reeces Rainbow because I do not know anyone adopting from this orphanage at this time...but I shall inquire more when I see Marina again). Marina will be back on Tuesday to help me finalize the paperwork and help Maria say goodbye (do zu stri chi) to her groupa!

Rustik came with me to the market today because I wanted to buy special gifts for the ladies who take care of Maria's groupa, so we managed to find someone who put together little customized gift sets of hand lotion, face lotion and shampoo and or body soap. Rustik was happy to help me as he said he is learning now how to buy gifts for women.

Thank you God for your grace, and for your faithfulness...I hear your voice behind my ear to the right and to the left letting me know I am walking the right way! (Isaiah 30:21)
