I want to begin this blog by giving glory to our Creator...His design is perfect. This is a fiddle head fern bud ready to unfold...they were all over on both sides of a trail we hiked during one of our weekly nature walks."All of the parts of the frond of a fern bud are tightly folded spirally within the bud and every fold of every leaflet is also folded in a spiral. But the first glance at one of these little wooly spirals gives us but small conception of its marvelous enfolding," (Handbook of Nature Study, p. 698)."...so intricate is the action of their multitudinous spirals, that to watch them unfolding impresses one as would a miracle," (HNS, p. 699).
Can't you just read this and feel that it describes all life?! It is a privilege for me to know Reece's Rainbow ministry, the precious "miracles" that give this ministry purpose, and to share with you my family's "unfolding" as we walk by faith. Thank you for sharing our walk...may you be richly blessed.

I like to post our journey with pictures that help to convey the emotions we are experiencing along the way! Today was a celebration day, although small in the scheme of the large dossier we are putting together. But YIPPEE and HURRAY is all I can say...yesterday I called the NCSBI to request new letters because of the snafus in the first ones they sent (see post below). I spoke with them YESTERDAY and the letters arrived TODAY! Now that's service! For anyone in the Raleigh, NC area - MONICA and PORTIA were WONDERFUL at the SBI - warm, understanding, patient, and getting the job done! And....still one of the letters must be re-done AGAIN because the notary made a hand-written error and then tried to fix it by writing over it... but that's OK...we'll call again tomorrow. Thank you, Lord, for putting patient and understanding people in our path!

    OK so I'm so sorry that this happened to you but just know that God is using if for good!! You have helped me tremendously as we are exactly where you are. I'll call them tomorrow and see what I can do- (monica & portia hmmmm..) Thanks again for sharing!!

    Hi there! Glad you are able to get things corrected! Our SBI notary stamped over the wording also but I went ahead and sent it- hoping to hear this week if it was ok. I'll keep Monica and Portia in mind...
